About me

About a year and a half ago, I was introduce to yoga for the very first time- and as they say, you don't find yoga, yoga finds you.
That couldn't be more true for me. I was searching for something to bring more meaning into my life, something beyond work and fitness. My son had just moved out, I was approaching menopause, and I was feeling incredibly emotional- honestly, someone could just say "boo"and i'd be in tears.
While fitness helped me mentally, I felt it wasn't quite enough. I was craving more depth, more connection with my body- and that's when yoga found me.
During a Yin Yoga class, I remembered tears streaming down my face, even though I had walked in cheerfull and upbeat.
That experience opended a door.
I started learning more about Yin Yoga at home and quickly discovered the powerful impact yoga can have- not just physically, but emotionally, spiritually and mentally. I was captivated by the practice and philosophy behind it.
Not long after, I enrolled in a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training course.
What I experienced there was nothing short of a transformation.
I've grown so much in this short time, both personally and spiritually.
Now, I feel called to share what Yoga has given me- through my classes, and through the blogs I write here on my website.
It's my hope that my journey can inspire and support others on theirs.
Namaste,
